I was first introduced to ceramic art in high school but my love for clay really took root in college while earning a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art from Morehead State University. Circumstances, growing a family and life in general led to a 19 year break from the pottery wheel. At the urging of my sister one November evening I decided to give it a try. Since 2023, I've been blessed to share a studio with my sister and now next door neighbor. I want each piece I make to bring delight and amusement to your everyday life. The production of my work tends more toward variety and inspiration and less toward volume and repetition. I'm finding so much fulfillment in clay and you never know what I'll make next!
